~God/Kanayuki~
I sat down at my desk and looked around. "Now that everyone is finally here." I saw them all flinch a little. "I know you're all excited about being able to go...outside, but there are rules!" They were all a little scared. I could see it. They couldn't wait to leave. I leaned my head in the palm of my hand and stared at them all.
"First off, the most important rule is to not let anyone find out about your...conditions. They'll hate you. They won't understand and they will abandon you." I chuckled. "They might even try to experiment on you in labs." I saw eyes widen at that remark. What irritated me was the smirk I caught on Shino's face. He looked into my eyes through his hair and I scowled. WHY WAS HE SMILING LIKE THAT?! I tapped my finger against my head. "If you're leaving the estate you must live with another Sohma. You can't travel alone to school or work. Another Sohma must be with you. You cannot leave the area unless it's a school trip and I approve it." I smiled. "And all of you must check in with me at least once a week!" A couple of them looked really down about that. I slammed my hand down on my desk. "IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?! AM I NOT IMPORTANT ANYMORE?!" Some jumps, some muffled gasps.
I looked down. They were all happy that they were leaving me. As soon as I let them out they'll never come back. I picked up the pile of papers at my desk and threw them at them. "You're school information. I have already enrolled all of you to the same district." Naoki picked them up and began to pass them along to the others. Then I tossed the other pile on the floor. "Those of you that wanted jobs got them as well." Arashi picked that pile up. I sighed. This meeting was almost over. Soon I would be alone again.
"Our New Years banquet is coming up soon. Alice will be dancing with Tatsuya this year. You all have to come and it lasts three days." I glared at Aibori. "The cat is not allowed to join in, but you must return home for the holiday just the same." She nodded, but her eyes were full of fear. I hate that look. Seeing it in their eyes p*ssed me off. "That's all. I'm done with you. Now go ahead. Run away. LEAVE ME ALL ALONE!" They all got up and couldn't get out of the room faster.
"Shino!" He was still looking down at the floor. "Come." He started to get up. "Crawl!" He crawled over. I smiled. "Good dog." I stroked his hair. "Why did you give me that look earlier?" He looked into my eyes and I saw the defiance hidden there. I slapped him. "DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT! I'M NOT IN THE MOOD!" He chuckled. "Not all of them are the same. Some of them might accept us." He looked up at me. "What would you do if that happened? If we were accepted by the outside world? If we found out it's not as horrible as you said it was?" I began to shake. They would leave. They would leave me alone! I hugged Shino tightly. "DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE!"
I felt him stiffen in my grasp. "Y...you were the first. The first one to show any kind of love to me! I'll die if you all leave me! Without you I'm nothing!" I looked into his eyes hopping to see the old love, but that hate was still there. "Yuki-Nii...you can't break our wills like this. The harder you try to hold us down the harder we'll try to pull away." I shoved him away and curled into a ball. "NONE OF YOU UNDERSTAND! You all hope I die. Then you'll be happy. If I had never been born you would all be happy...."
~Dog/Shino~
I stood up. A part of me was always happy to see him fall apart like this, while another part always wanted to cry with him. "Maybe we would love you again if we didn't have to." I walked over and picked him up. He was still so light. "You're gonna work yourself into a fit again." He buried his face in my neck. "It would make you all happy..." I sighed. His asthma was gonna get bad if he kept this up. "You're the worst of them all Shino!" I nodded. I had heard this before. Deep down I still loved him. He was still my Yuki-Nii. But I can't stand what he's become. How he treats everyone. That is what makes me hate him. But can't he just see...the reason I rebel and make him angry...is because I'm trying to protect him. To protect everyone.
I carried him to his bed and laid him down. "S...stay with me." I nodded and laid next to him. He wrapped his arms around me neck. I was his comforting pet again.
~Kaoru~
I woke up in Nora-Nee's arms. She smiled down at me. "You ok Kao-Chan?" I sat up and rubbed my head. "My head hurts..." I looked around. "What happened to Shino-Nii and Ai-Nee?!" Anora stroked my hair. "It's ok Kao-Chan. The meeting ended and we were allowed to leave." Arashi shook his head. "Shino's still there though." My eyes widened. "He is?" He nodded. "Don't worry Kaoru. I'm sure Shino can take care of himself. He knows better than all of us how to handle Kanayuki-San." I nodded, but I was still worried.
~Oks...time to get rolling again ^^ you can all now officially start posts about school and work! SO I SHOULD NOT SEE A DEAD WORLD ANYMORE!!!
