Today was going so slowly. I kept looking at the clock and staining my ears hoping to hear Aaralyn and Kai. I sighed. "Shino!" I mopped out into the kitchen. "Aaralyn and Kai forgot their bento. Why don't you take them to them?" I smiled. "But...we're not supposed to go out alone?" She shook her head. "When do you ever do as you're told. Besides you're an adult." I chuckled. "Aren't you the one who keeps telling me to behave, and not make Kanayuki mad?" She turned away. "Maybe I'm wrong..."
I didn't ask her what she ment. Instead I grabbed the bento and ran out the door. I quickly kissed her cheek as I ran by. When I got outside I started walking down the street. My mom had a little note with directions attached to the boxes. I saw Kaoru and his father Kaede. Kaoru looked pretty down. I reached out and ruffled his hair. "What's wrong kiddo? You were so excited yesterday." I looked over at Kaede. He had that scary look in his eyes. I remember that look. He was p*ssed. He smiled and I definitely knew he was p*ssed. "The homeroom teacher and principal gave him some trouble over his hair. But I handled it." I nodded. Then I knelt down and looked Kaoru in the eyes.
"I'm sure you aren't the only one. Lots of us have weird hair or eyes. Ta-Kun's eyes are bright red. I'm sure he's getting odd looks too. Tomorrow will be better." He nodded. Kaede shook his head. "Shino-Kun aren't you supposed to have a chaperone?" I rolled my eyes and he laughed. "Yeah I know how you feel." He placed a hand lovingly on Kaoru's shoulder. "Kaoru's still a little young to be out alone though. But I wouldn't want someone following him around when he's your age." I nodded. "Well I got to go. My friend forgot her bento." His eyes widened at that, and I took off before I had to explain further. "Oi! SHINO-KUN?!" I turned to look back. He was smiling and waving at me. "Don't forget to wear protection!!!" Kaoru's eyes widened and I felt my face heat up as I almost did a faceplant on the pavement. Kaede was still laughing.
When I finally got to the school I headed into the office. Lots of the kids were staring at me. I ignored them. When I got to the office the lady's jaw dropped. "Um my friend forgot her lunch. Would you mind calling her to the office?" She blushed a little. "So...pretty." I looked at her confused and her eyes widened. "Oh goodness. Excuse me! I'll call her right away." I smiled. "Thank you."
~Ahem...Kaoru's dad=epicness >//> I kept picturing Italy for some reason when he said that to Shino lol I should probably give Shino's mom a name too ^^;
