~Kanayuki~

I was slumped over at my desk. Everytime I looked at the clock I got more irritated. My zodiac was at a school. Surrounded by outsiders. No one...had even come to see me before they left. I was already forgotten. There was a knock at my door. "What is it?!" One of my maids Mio looked in. "Forgive my interruption Kanayuki-Sama, but Kaede Sohma would like to talk with you." I sighed. "Send him in."

Kaede walked in and sat down and respectfully bowed to me. "What do you want?" He smiled. "I would like to talk to you about Tatsuya." I cocked my head to the side. Why? What does this man want with my beautiful black dragon? "His parents...they.." "I know full well how his parents are. What do you care? You want me to do something about it?!" I laughed. "No matter who I am I have no power over them. I can't make them love their child." I couldn't even get my own to love me. "It's not that...I would like to have custody of him." My eyes widened. "Why would you do that?" He smiled sadly. "Those kids...they need more love because of the curse. They need parents. I almost ruined Kaoru with my own selfishness...he and Tatsuya are so close."

I slammed my hands down. "I FORBID IT!!" His eyes widened. "THEY DON'T NEED PARENTS! THEY HAVE ME!!! I LOVE ALL OF THEM!!" He looked down and shook his head. "Please...I beg you. For Tatsuya's sake. He needs someone to look after him. Especially now that they're in school." I froze and smiled. "Oh...did something...happen at school?" Kaede's eyes turned cold. "Just some trouble over hair and eyes. Kaoru and Tatsuya both came home because of it." I smiled. That was perfect! I knew the outside would hurt them! Knew they would have to come back to me!! I layed my head on the desk as I continued to laugh. Kaede looked confused. "Kanayuki...Sama..?" I was still giggling. "Fine...he can stay with you." He smiled. "R..really?!" I waved my hand at him. "Yes yes...now get out before I change my mind!" He bowed again before leaving.

It doesn't matter. In the end I'm the only one they truly have. They'll realize that sooner or later. And then...they will stay here with me forever! I laughed some more. If only the idiots had listened to me in the first place!
