This card was made in commemoration of the official date of death of Light Yagami in the Death Note series. The song used is "Yesterday" by The Beatles. I've always thought that this song really fits the end of the series because it highlights the fact that Light had lived a boring yet peaceful life when he did not have the Death Note. Once he got hold of it, however, his life became full of troubles and ultimately led to his demise. It's a sad story, especially for someone like him who had so much potential to become a great person.

As we commemorate his death later this week, let his tragic life remind us that we should live our lives to the fullest and do our best to make it fruitful and truly worth living. There will be times when we will long for the joys of yesterday, but by living a wonderful life we can savor the joys of the present and the future. Light's fate made him unable to live that wonderful life, but we have the chance to do it.
