I made this wallpaper last night out of an idea I had the following night. Sticks and Stones is one of my favorite songs by Aly and AJ. I haven't listened to much of their music to be honest but I really like the overall message of this song. It's pretty much saying not to let anyone make you feel bad and do your best to ignore the insults from people. People pick on you because they feel bad about themselves and they have to pick on someone else to make themselves feel better. I heard this song playing when I was at the shoestore and it was playing over the intercom. I've had it stuck in my head since then. I downloaded it not to long after I heard it.
Anytime I listened to this song, I'd imagine Joey being put down by Kaiba cause in the show Kaiba is always putting Joey down in some way,shape,or form. So he's in the wallpaper and he doesn't care about the song. Also for some reason I would imagine Kairi and Namine singing the song to Kaiba to get him to stop putting Joey down. By the second verse,Kaiba realizes that he's got nowhere to turn cause he keeps putting people down. Kaiba always thought he was better than everybody and now he's the one at the bottem. I really thought this song fit Joey cause over the course of Yu-Gi-Oh there were alot of people who put him down. Even Yugi has put him down in a few episodes. I wanted to show that Joey didn't care about what bad things people say or have said about him or to him and I wanted to show that he's determined to become a strong duelist no matter what. I guess Namine and Kairi would be Aly and AJ in this wallpaper and Joey would be the one overcoming the odds and becoming a great duelist,no matter what people said. Kaiba would be the one to realize that putting down people is wrong and he would realize what he did. Well with that said I hope you like the wallpaper. Sorry it looks squished. I had to switch over to a widescreen format to fit Joey into the wallpaper. For a better view of the wallpaper,I'd highly recommend checking out the widescreen version. It looks alot better. Well I'd like to dedicate this to harvestmoonluvr for being a really cool friend. Hope you like it friend.
