Xiaolin Showdown Fanfiction

Chapter 1:

"I don't know if this is such a good idea..."

"Relax, it'll be fine."

"I'm not so sure..."

"Just trust me! Everything will be alright."

Jack moaned. Ever since his older cousin Kai came to town because of a sudden school transfer, it's been nothing but scheme after scheme after plan after plan. Most of them involving him. Usually he didn't mind, seeing as how they helped him find/keep some of the Shen Gong Woo that he found, but this was too much.

"I really think this is a terrible idea." He complained. To explain, this plan involved three things that should never be combined: himself, a dress, and Raimundo Pedrosa.

"How many times to I have to tell you, Jackie! This plan is perfect! Not only will you get some more Shen Gong Woo, but you'll also get closer to-"

"SHUT UP KAI." He scratched his cheek. This makeup is getting irritating. I can't wait to get it off. He thought and sighed. If he had the choice, he'd throw Kai out in a heartbeat never to see her again. However, the consequences of disobeying his trouble-making cousin were nightmarish.

"Just trying to help~!" Kai said with a mischievous smile.

"You may have gotten me into this abomination, but that doesn't mean that you're getting me out of this room."

"Abomination! I paid over 200 dollars for that designer dress! I looked everywhere for a dress that would not only compliment your hair color, but also your figure and eyes!" Kai swiftly whacked him on the head and just as fast rearranged his bangs. "Besides, you look fantastic!" She turned him toward the mirror and showed him. "See?"

The reflection Jack saw was not a welcome one to him. Here he was, Jack Spicer: Evil Boy Genius in a red and orange dress, red-high heels, layers and layers of cover up, lipstick, lip gloss, blush, mascara, eye liner and eye shadow. Not a very welcome sight. But, he had to admit, she did a good job. You could hardly tell that it was still Jack Spicer.

He turned from his feminine reflection to go and sulk on the bed. "How the hell did I let you convince me to do this in the first place?"

"Easy. I said that if you didn't do this, I'd steal all of your Shen Gon Woo and then make you suffer an insane and terrible death!" And yet she said that with a smile.

Even though the room was warm and humid, a shiver went down his back. "Riiiiight...."

"Anyways, you ready to go yet?"

"NEVER. I already told you," Jack began to slip off the dress and mess up his neatly combed hair that took his poor cousin Kai over an hour to part and untangle. "I'm. Not. Going."

"DON'T YOU DARE." Kai smacked him and pulled him so close, he could almost see to the bottom of Kai's black eyes - a trait she inherited from her father - and single red bang fell into his face. "Touch either the dress, your hair or your makeup, and I will not hesitate to kill you." She dropped him and took his gloved hand. "Now come along; you're keeping out guests waiting."
