I tried using a sliding glass door a long time ago, and it really is a pain to draw vertically. If you can go to a hardware store like Lowe's, they have clear acrylic sheets in several sizes to fit any budget. Then you can back it with thin white paper or gently scuff with sandpaper to diffuse light better. Of course, then you'd have to figure out a way to make it into a table...
Thank you so much! Guess I owe my cellphone an apology, haha Yeah, the Ticonderogas work really well! You should definitely try them, I think you'd like them.
I never would have thought to use a "light table". I've always used a window when I need a light box. It's a pain to draw on a vertical surface. I'd use a glass table like you mentioned, but I don't have one.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
WOW!! I didn't know that you took the picture with your cellphone, the quality was fine for me! and I should try Ticonderoga pencils sometime, they sound neat :)
As for your whole process, its so interesting! I do the same with, with looking up reference pictures on google! And using a lighttable sounds super, I haven't used one of those before! Neat! and great work once again, my friend! <3
