Today's exam was EL201J, Conversation. There shouldn't have been any problem, but there was. The questions were totally roundabout, and at times totally out of our level. We somehow managed to scrape by, but it was a darn close thing.
Next exam: EL213, Socio-eco-political Development of Japan (Tomorrow)

Yep, that is what I'll get in today's exam, Text and Kanji. The paper was somewhat tough, in that the blank-fillups were mostly intuitive, which meant a lot of brainwork. The passage for comprehension was pretty nice, though, about pets and Japanese people.
The kanji part was great! Lots of easy-to-identify kanji, and very simple compound words made it the better half of my paper.
Well, let's see if I can do better than Blood Plus (for those who don't know, a guide follows). Cheers!
Next exam: EL201J, Conversation (30/11).
Today's exam was EL203J, i.e. Grammar and Comprehension.
The grammar portion was tough! I couldn't make heads or tails of one of the questions, and pretty much guessed the rest. God knows what'll happen with that.
Comprehension was pretty easy. I managed the two essays pretty well, though the letter is giving me nightmares right now. I almost submitted it with a grave mistake: I'd written the address at the end in the wrong way! (Japanese people write their addresses at the end of their letters, that too in the opposite order: City, area, building, house number) Thank god I noticed!
Next exam: EL202J (Text and Kanji), 28th Nov.
Well, the status board's pretty dead...
All right, exams! My first exam (today) was EL204J, Translation. We had to do 8 passages in total out of 10 (4 JPN-ENG, 4 ENG-JPN). I think I've done pretty well, considering. The J-E was dead easy because the f-ing teacher gave us 3 passages we had done in class before(!). The E-J wasn't much harder, but I'm really worried about the grammar. Hope it works out!
Next exam: Tomorrow, EL203J (Grammar and Comprehension). Wish me luck!
