I totally believe in that too!!! The instrument I play all the time is the one God gave me, and I've been using it both in a choral setting and for my own amusment (mainly the last one) since day one!
Guitars are nice in that they're a lot more portable than pianos. Violins are much more portable that guitars, though, and harmonicas are even more portable than that. The most portable instrument of all, of course, is one's own voice. ^_^
I'm much better at listening to music than I am at making it, I think. I can sing but the other instruments are done much better by other members of the family.

That is so cool that you improvise your own music!! A lot of time that's more fun than playing music that's already been written. I hope you have a lot of fun with it!!
Awww, thanks It's never too late to start playing piano again, if you want to. My Grandfather is learning how to play and, well, I'm pretty sure he's old than you Of course, I guess I don't really play piano much anymore either. I like guitar better
