I go to Wal-Mart for things like laundry detergent... you know, basic stuff that's just... blah. when I read ur post I actually had to stop and think for a second, then I remembered, oh, yeah, they have other things, lol! I never go there looking for fun stuff, it's just all business, me with my list, in the non-fun sections of the store, getting soap and shampoo and toothpaste. I'd enjoy it a lot more if I was looking for throw rugs or new hand towels or something... thnx for the suggestion.
shopping bag full of clothes?! cool!! :D I wish I could go on a nice big shopping spree... I used to do that with my mom, but then our favorite department store closed. it was our place, you know? now we have to find another one. but that's exciting in its own way. I'm just still kinda mourning the "death" of the old place, if that makes any sense at all, lol.
I'm thinking I might have to take a second pill when I wake up too soon... :p I checked the label... it's ok to take that much. but I can't do that till later in the week b/c I have plans and I can't be too groggy to get out of bed and make it out the door. it's stuff I really shouldn't postpone either... :/ if I can just hold on for a while, I'll be able to slip contentedly into a well-deserved oblivion.
bummer again dude. *puts hand on shoulder* but dont feel too bad. u will catch up soon.hopefully. >> << *takes a shopping bag full of clothes and is thinking about bonking u in the head so u can sleep then thinks better of it and sets it down* we need to find a better way for u to fall asleep for a long time....*paces*
*thinks* hmmm... *hurts self and stops* ow, my brain... it doesn't want to think right now. :p I haven't been sleeping well with the congestion from the cold. I finally took something last nite and slept like a deadwoman, but I'm still tired b/c the pill wore off too soon. but I had several hours of blissful unconciousness before that.
*licks lips as I polish off ur licorice stick* oh, sorry, were u going to use that? oops... couldn't help myself. :p I love licorice. non-edible weapons are best when ur with me...
lol, all the guys are hers? do they know about this? Miroku, for one, would be insanely jealous.
I haven't watched Vampire Knight. the last time I checked Netflix to see if I could get it, they didn't have it. maybe sometime soon...? I don't know...
glad ur enjoying Inuyasha. I'm actually pretty picky. :p I don't like to sit still unless it's for a really good reason, lol.
but i DO think it will be worth it. my frend fell in love with it and gets mad at me whenever i say that either Sesshomaru or Inuyasha or any of the guys on there are hot. she says "they're MINE!!!" then i start laughing.
but she said both the series and the movies were good. so im watching it. i also started watching Vampire Knight. have u waatched it?
wow, I can't relax and have fun if I know the chores are waiting for me. I'd rather get all the work done and then fall into my nice comfy chair to watch a DVD or read a book. or come on here, lol!
so, are you enjoying Inuyasha at least? you think it's going to be worth it to sit thru all those eps? I hate it when I spend time on a series, and then I end up not even liking it... we've chatted about that before, lol. I saw some of the eps on Adult Swim, but I got the impression they had to edit them alot for tv. I liked the show at first, but as it went on, it seemed like they kinda started putting filler episodes in between the good ones. the "good" ones being the ones where important things happened with the main characters, and the "filler" being ones that were centered more on subplots that ppl don't care about as much or stories about more minor characters. so I lost interest... if it was a much shorter series, I prolly would've stuck with it, but with all the time it would've taken... *sigh* my butt starts hurting if I sit on it that long, lol!
I'm sure cats have a lot to teach us, if we just had a way of understanding the lessons. animals have their own kind of wisdom.
wow... I thought it was 50 eps... I kinda have a rule: if it's going to take that long to watch, I just don't get involved with it. not anime, anyway... live-action shows yes, but I don't even get into them very often. I just don't like sitting around for that long. I feel like I should be cleaning the house or something useful like that, lol.
I know, it is sad. I usually only step on them when they dart out from under the furniture right in front of me. it's even worse if I'm carrying a basket of laundry and can't see my feet. then I'll just see a furry blur off to the side if I'm lucky and have a split second to try (usually unsuccessfully) to avoid the collision. then there's a fuzzy impact and a bewildered caterwaul. I make sure the cat's ok, but then they get a talking-to b/c it's not safe for them to just run out in front of one of us like that. the other cats have gotten the message, and they avoid our feet, but Misty just ran in front of me yesterday. she actually stepped on me, lol! she had her claws out, and ran right across my foot. she actually does know better. a few days before that, she ran in front of me, and I gave her "the lecture", and a little while later, we were both coming toward each other again, and she had another opportunity to run in front of me, and she actually veered and went the other way. I could tell from looking at her that it was a concious decision on her part to do what I'd told her. which is fantastic, because it shows that animals actually do understand at least some of what you try to tell them. the extent to which animals and humans can communicate with each other is fascinating to me. my cats understand words in english like "tuna" and "out", but how much more do they understand? I understand some things in feline, like the tail-twitch means annoyance, and yowling at the door means they want to go out, but I wish we could understand each other more. you know, like teaching apes sign language, except something that would work for cats and dogs. or humans being able to decipher animal languages. wouldn't that be cool?
anyway... doesn't Inuyasha have like, 50 eps? that's going to take a long time... have fun!
my grandmother used to have a cat with no tail. I was really young at the time, and I thought it was so weird! I don't think I'd ever seen a cat without a tail before, lol!
cats know when you've stepped on them and it was just an accident. I make a big show of jumping off to one side away from their tail (or their toes) so they know I'm sorry. sometimes that's only a slight exaggeration. they let out a huge caterwaul that scares me half to death. it's worse when my dad steps on one of them, b/c he's usually got his shoes on, and I take mine off in the house. the cats cringe when they see one of us walk by with shoes on, b/c they're remembering how much it hurts to get stepped on with shoes. but at least they stay out of the way. it keeps them from really getting hurt and having to go to the vet.

hahaha, i bet that was hilarious. yea, when i had a cat, she had no tail. it was sad. but my mom said at least we wouldnt step on it cuz bother me and her are kinda clumsy. but it was sad to see her with no tail.
but i HAVE stepped on other cat's tails. it was on accident tho. i didnt even mean to. i would apologize and pick them up and pet them and play with them to show them that i was sorry. i always felt soooo bad.
but sometimes i wish i could be a cat person too. or a mermaid, but a good one. like, a princess of the ocean. like Ariel of The Little Mermaid. people think thats weird tho....
yeah, I actually wish I was a catgirl... I like the ears, but I'm not sure about the tail. I think I'd prolly keep getting it stuck places and stepped on and stuff. I see the trouble my cats have with their tails... it's like they don't keep track of them, lol! I've actually seen one of my cats sitting eating at his food bowl with his tail in his water bowl! it was all wet, and he was oblivious, except for this look on his face like he was vaguely aware that something wasn't quite right but he just couldn't figure out what it was. it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, lol!
