It went pretty well. The hardest thing I gave up was reading manga :P So, of course, the manga that I had been waiting to come out for months showed up. But I managed to stick to my resolution ^^
Quorn is like fake meat for vegetarians, it is made from some sort of protein stuff... Similar to mushrooms perhaps. I'm not sure how it is made, but it gets shaped into sausages, burgers, mince, chicken pieces etc. Tis tasty! Although i'm sure my description sounds horrible XD
Tis going well, seeing as I have to cook bacon at work XD i'm being good. I tend to cook a lot of things with veggie-meat [like quorn] anyways, so it isn't too much of a bother.
You gave up meat?! OoO?! (*bows down in respect*) I'd like to say I could do that too if I put my mind to it, but I don't like the prospect of giving up gyro or lingua anytime soon. (Especially since I don't get to have any of those that often anyway.) Maybe I'll attempt that when I move out of the house several years from now...
In anycase; yes, Lent's going just fine on this end. ^_^ Yours?
