I'll have to rely on vision and the expiration date, I'm afraid. No sense of smell comes with some disadvantages. And the occasional upset stomach.

That it is...but I see it, as long as it doesn't look or smell suspicious (like stereotypical cafeteria food -_-; ) then it shouldn't harm you too much. ^_~

Everything's required to have an expiration date, whether it actually expires or not. Honey doesn't go bad, but it's got a use-by date, anyway.
Still, a little unsettling to be eating something and find out the expiration date was a couple months ago. :P
