Well, CLAMP's style is the use of bold colors. Even though the lines are detailed, the colors make it look simple and not too complicated for the eyes. Unlike for this Pixiv work, its more like a painting style. Notice that the cherry blossom has outlines but the hydrangeas' details are made from the colors themselves.
Its much better if you find a painting-like coloring scan to pair for this one. Although you can also manipulate the cherry blossoms if you can.
Just like I said, you have to be careful when combining two images... :)) Just experiment more! You're just the greatest :D
Derr.....I guess they didn't blend well? >_>
I tried my best blending them cause the original image was too boring without anything else, and I'm actually satisfied with it XD
But, thanks for the advice C:
I'll be more careful next time~~
I'm very sorry not many people entered. I truly wanted to, but lately my schedule has been so packed with so much stuff to do I just didn't have time until last night, when it was too late D:
New or not, you've made an impression on me, and that's what I first thought and still do think of you C:
Thanks x3x
I had a hard time blending them to where I was satisfied with them, but I guess they don't blend that well together cause Sephine *points to comment above* could tell they were two separate images O_o
The other one was pretty, but too empty, so I thought I'd do that to add something to it
And, I'll definitely be sure to enter the next one C:
Nice try on the merging of scans... Although I easily noticed it! haha... Its hard to fool me with things like this, LOL. Probably because its a little weird for me to see hydrangeas and sakura (cherry blossoms) drawn in a different style together. They're a nice combination though...
Its hard to explain how I can say they have different drawing style. Trust me, its easy to decipher! Haha... I suggest you to be more observant on finding two images that would be good to combine :) Also, try fixing the image yourself to make it similar/connected with the other :D
