That's true png. has better quality than jpg. but actually jpg. is better in something else when it all comes together, but that is not the issue now. XD
The thing is that GIMP is acting weird there cause png. and jpg. are just image codex, meaning that using a manipulation program like GIMP and choosing all the options to keep the same when saving, it should save the same quality as xcf. I mean what's the point of making something there if you can't have the same as you made. XD
So there is more behind it and I will see to it a little...
And hey, to tell you the truth, your cards and wallpapers and everything is so lovely and nice looking. :) I doubt that anyone would notice the difference there when then have a masterpiece like that in front of them.^^

Well, yes, that is true, but when .jpg's have the least quality. Png's have much better quality than .jpg's, and because the original format of my cards are .xcf's, those naturally look the nicest. Lol, ask any other card artist on here. We've all complained about .jpg's at one point in time. xD
Ahah, well, the wall is a typographic background wall, so... The entire background will be typography...
You're very welcome and hey, I know this thing. It looks fantastic either way around so you don't have to worry about that. :)
And speaking about that, it is not because of the format there. It can't be, because jpg. is a format used for digital reproduction of the image by keeping quality. In other words it can take any quality there is as long as the setup is done right to it. When you save the image try to keep the RGP the same as it is and also to always keep 100% of quality there. It should be the same, my cards always look the same there..
I am sure that there is an option that there hasn't been switched, we shall together solve the mystery out. :D
Oh wow, more text? Seriously if here was some kind of praise I would give you one for making the best typography there.^^ I can't wait until I see the finished piece. :)
Thank you so much! Unfortunately, the .xcf version of this looked SO much better! Jpg's just kill the quality. T.T It's so frustrating, because all my cards come out looking crappier than usual once I convert them. D: But I'm glad you like it!
I still need to finish adding text to the rest of the wall XD I got a little farther than from when we last talked, but there's still a long ways to go...
Ah, I can definitely say which card is the nicer one of ones that I saw today. This one is really nice and I don't know how the original image looked.. But you made the image and the typography there collide so good and even leaving rest of the image just for pure nice details.
Hehe, ah no worries about the images. *breaks knuckles* So anyone has objection. *silence...* Good!! *grins*
XD
Oh yeah, when you are going to submit your very awesome wallpaper. I remember how it already looked fine there when you showed me, I am sure that it is even better now.^^
