Amen, sister! *hugs* I mean, it's sad for me because I became friends with that ex-friend of yours through you...so I'm still friends with both of you...but I'm really sorry that this happened. :( It truly sucks. I hope that she maybe changes somehow...truly apologizes and makes an attempt to be a better friend. But you're right, blood is thicker than water...I know I care more about my family than anyone and anything else in this world.
Maybe it's for the best, you can't really maintain a friendship if you don't feel comfortable being around that person >_> Your (former) friend should seriously consider their attitude.
Awesome card, I love the contrast between the blue bg and red clothes. Also, kudos for making a "medieval" type font look so good :)
Second, you are right. Making insults between friends especially on that level is wrong. Even if a friend would have something against your family, it is best to keep it to itself and try not that to come between your friendship.
I do hope that things will still work out between you and that your friend will understand that it was wrong...
