After describing Killua like that I can see why people love him, he's amazing; strong, mysterious, cute, kinda has 'em all, you know. I like every character equally right now because Killua's too young. I love Ciel who's 13 and ages so he'll be 14 soon, but he just has a mature air, Killua doesn't, so I can't think anything of crush nature towards him.
I understand your feelings though, at least you don't hate Killua or you don't love a character that everybody hates. That usually happens to me, I love Sasuke from Naruto for example. He's the only character I like from that show and everybody else hates him. Happened with Kikyo from Inuyasha too, I love her and dislike Kagome, I was minority back then too *sigh*
All our issues would be solved if those two kids would age huh? XD
I could love Killua and the fans could fantasize about him and Gon together. Shota is nice, but when 2 shota are together, it's plain weird, they need an adult. hope the police ain't reading this XD
I wonder if they'll have a huge time-skip at the end. Their adventure is over, everyone's happy, then in the final chapter it's like '10 years later'. A shot of everyone's adult faces is enough for me. Leorio is young too, he's in his teens, too bad I hoped he was 20 something it would make me feel less old XD Is his age mentioned?
I think the author should let them grow older. The manga was stared in 1998, the 2 leading main characters were 12 and now is 2011, they are still at 12 -_-
Can I ship these 2 kids together since they are together 24/7? They even took bath and slept together but I could not think they would have done anything more or break the line of friendship since they are considered as kids... it sounds ridiculous somehow when thinking the two have been together entire time since the hunter exam started (Killua left sometimes, but he went back to Gon after that), they have not done anything special beyond the line. Gon and Killua should have gained their feeling stronger for each other - friendship is not enough with the two XD -- Oh nvm :P
The roasted pigs and the hanging eggs there -- I have no idea xD.
But I dont know, I feel like this anime/manga is odd in someways. I dont know, I feel it but I cannot put all my feeling in words xD... hard to describe all. Hope they will fix the new anime 2011, but the manga is violent, there will be some scenes in later chapters mention a lot about fighting and or even with killing.
Is there only me or what, I feel like Im the only one, who read HxH out there, do not have a crush on Killua. I think 99% HxH fans are dying/falling for him. Im in the 1% left --> Im abnormal T_T.
I think Gon should need some special technique. Gon is like an ordinary character with a house in a whale island and Mito san who he dearest as a mother. Gon's physical talent is not strong as K. He is not even smart or clever.
Regarding Hiei and Killua - Killua has his dark side too. Unlike Gon, who is naive, Killua in Togashi was portrait-ed with a complex personality. He has his cuteness, and his darkness side. Just as same as Hiei, his darkness is evil. Killua's family members are all assassins, and he is one of them. He is skillful and has been trained on how to kill other human beings since he was young. This proved how his physical power is strong.
Please dont take this in mind ---> I dont know - maybe other can say Im selfish or something -__-,,, but seeing all the fans got into Killua and how the author make him super cool like that -- I feel sometimes do not want to continue reading HxH T_T. Blame my selfishness -_- hope you have good time watching HxH and YYH.
sorry for giving out so much spoilers

Whaaaat~ they don't age D: I can't fangirl over a 12 year old boy, Killua or not, I can't imagine anything. Damn...
I love Hiei, he's the mysterious, dark type, I like the silent ones in anime, it's my type I suppose.
I read about the sushi part on a forum, I also saw that the kitchen-warehouse was made into a mansion. I like how the pig roasting was shown, in the manga, not sure if anime too, the candidates came with the pig already roasted, it didn't make sense. The part with the current is weird too, if it is so strong to hold a person, how were those eggs still hanging there?
At least in the latest episode I got to see Killua getting angry, is he part demon or something? He was really cool, though I won't expect any violence in this anime >__>
Thanks for the recommendation; it sounds good, I like comedy hehe. I will spend sometime to watch Abridged later when the semester end.
HxH older version is not as great quality as the new one because it is older. The new one has some problems too; some scenes on the new one seems to be changed and cut-out while the older version still have them. For example, the sushi part in the old one and in the manga has been cut-out in the new version of HxH; and the girl, who had her family killed by the Zaoldyeck, tries to revenge for her family by trying to kill Killua has been erased too. -_-
However, I think it is better like that to keep the anime shorter since the manga part is long and those scenes aren't necessary. The old one and the new one are both great to me hehehe. :D
I watched YYH long time ago and right now I have forgotten some parts of it. Im surprised that you like Hiei in YYH; Killua in HxH has some characteristics that resemble Hiei from YYH, like Hiei's speed and Killua's speed are fast. :D
Sad news, if Im not wrong... Killua and Gon are still 12 yo in chapter 324 (the current manga chapter). Their ages are the same as chap. 1 Y_Y.
Funny you mentioned Yu Yu Hakusho, I'm reading the manga right now XD I watched the Abridged series on youtube, they're amazing, I recommend them for laughs. Then I started to miss it, I watched the anime years ago and had a major crush on Hiei, now I enjoy the manga a lot >w<
A thing I dislike about older anime is the lack of attention towards the background characters. I saw some HxH screenshots from the old anime and the bg characters are all ugly as heck and kinda look alike, same haircuts and clothing color. Still, old anime have a charm, a certain something that new anime don't have despite the advanced animation techniques.
I think I'll give the HxH manga a try once it ends, so I can read it whole. I hope they grow up during the manga, I mean Killua is 12 now, but in 100 chapters I hope he makes it to 13 and so on XD
Yep, I agree the new version is much better, not even the colors, the images have improved, the sound, characters' voices, OP and ED songs, sound tracks or the characters' appearances are also better. I like the new one. ^_^
Hehhe, I used to be a fan of Togashi Yoshihiro. He was my favorite mangaka when I first watched Yu Yu Hakusho and I admitted that manga was my favorite too. I read HxH with a friend when I was in VN, even though Im not much into it right now, I watch and read it sometime. To be honest, I dont know much about HxH, I read some threads in Mangafox to get ideas and know what happened and has happened in the manga. As I read the manga myself, I usually get confused, especially HxH... current chapters are hard to understand all :P
Discussing manga is fun heheh...

Wow, you put so much thought in this manga. I heard there was an older version of the anime, but didn't search further, I looked now at some pics and I have to say the new anime is much more colorful XD look
But from what pics examples I saw in a thread it seems it follows the manga a bit better, but since it's directed at a young audience it might get severely censored. As long as it's not like Kateikyo Reborn, I have no problem XD
I think it's interesting that a 2nd character is more awesome than the main, but it usually happens like that XD Look in Bleach at Hitsugaya, he's more loved & hated than Ichigo (in other words gets more attention), he even placed no.1 in a popularity poll or Kateikyo Reborn where Hibari is way more popular than Tsuna. So it's not surprising that a secondary character steals the spotlight.
To be honest I don't think Gon is that strong from what I saw, maybe Killua's just stronger so that's why he helps a lot... You're the expert XD

It's not considered as a word since (in my knowledge) best is # 1 already.
--> Bestest is used for some special situation, for a really close friend (the best friends can do the bathing together, and sleeping together -_-)
lolz
Uhm......
Thanks for saying those lovely words of yours ^_^
To Sakura: heheh, you watch this anime too. wow... the anime is good - that was what my friend told me. The new version (2011) is very cute, especially young assassin, Killua. He is cuter than the old version ^^
----
I adore their friendship. ^_^
In this anime, I like Gon the best since I like his personality, naive and something realistic -_- (or maybe I watch real movie too much)...
Killua seems ok to me, at first --- IDK, seems the author makes him so perfect or what, he is so unreal to me (well, they are all unreal anyway xD)... That's not my style... IDK, sorry for this...
I read the manga, this series is getting less interested to me. I think Togashi sensei gives all the coolness to Killua - Gon, the first main character is somewhat too much relies on Killua's helps, making Gon less interested - I mean Gon shows no coolness at all lol. I dont see anything special comming from Gon as the # 1 main character of HxH. Sometimes, I got confused that the #1 main character of HxH is Killua, not Gon. Since I like Gon, I feel well... the manga at first looked nice because I thought the author would give him something which catches my eyes or surprises me like other mangaka does to their first main character. As long as I wait for it, I feel disappointed in the latest chapters, but now I think it is ok, plus they are all under-aged to me, this manga just goes as what it should go... does not matter anymore
... I just want to watch the relationship between Gon and Killua - hope it will be getting closer... This is my point of reading this manga - I like yaoi lol
(sorry for saying this, HxH and Killua's fans, but this is personal opinion, hope this wont get into any fight -_-)
Oh, yeas, all in all, hahah, dont take my words so seriously. I am sure the new HxH 2011 (the anime one) is much better; you should watch it until the end, please despite my words above since Im too much [like] Gon... and those are just one-sided opinion of mine.
I hope you will find the anime 2011 interesting. Sorry for too much of words. I respect all opinions ^_^

Lmao, I noticed that, though it's not a real word, bestest is an awesome word for describing a friend! I use it all the time and I think it sounds dandy! ;D
It looks great in your gorgeous card as well, for sure! I think it's perfectly fine as it is! <33
I started watching this anime too, it's such a stereotypical type of anime with a silly kindhearted who amazes everyone main character, plus he even has spiky hair XD But I love it for some reason XD
Great card, Killua is awesome, but he's too underage even for me XD;;
