Oh no. We learned in Psychology that it is mostly biological and not a choice at all. Sometimes people can be influenced and encouraged....But not really.
My professor, who is a Dr. put it in a good way..."Why are people born blind? or born with a disability? Our world had been messed up ever since sin was brought into the world. God intended us to be perfect and for us to be in a heterosexual relationship, but once sin was there humanity became twisted. Things like diseases started up"
If you think about it....it makes no sense any other way...Why would we ADAPT...yes I used the Darwin word.. ;) to want to be with someone you cannot reproduce with? This is taking all of God out. Love is not real then...and we are attracted for one thing...survival. It lacks scientific logic for someone to be homosexual.
Anyways. This is purely what I think. I do not hate on homosexuals. I do not label people as that. I treat them as PEOPLE...as a Christian that is what I am supposed to do. It makes me sad when not all Christians do...But of course many of them do. It's like...not all Muslims are terrorist...Not all Christians are hypocrites.

Pretty card. I'm not Catholic, I'm Adventist but I never understood the praying to Mary thing when you can just pray straight to God. lol Revelation is pretty cool. I listened to it on tape. (Never again) The voices were too dramatic and the background music, no comment. But it's really awesome. I love Bible stories cuz every time I read I'm like these people were crazy. Revelations is full of metaphors and has to be read slowly to be understood. *skipped over most of your rant* :/ Gomen I could argue for hours of why a lot of your rant...while it's true is also very wrong. we actually talked about Gay rights ect IN my Christian college during psychology. Most of us are against *not me* Gay right only because allowing it would be to them encouraging sin. That would be like, "Oh yeah go ahead and steal, it's ok cause it's legal now." In psych we talked about how being Gay is not a sin...acting upon your desires is the sin. Such as acting upon the desire to cheat on your spouse. But that is why some Christians are against it.

No, wanting to read Revelations is not odd. What I find odd is that no one wants to focus on that. I go to a Catholic school too *which I kind of hate* and it irks me that MARY is supposed to take our prayers to heaven. Mary was a saint, yes. Mary gave birth to Jesus, yes.
