The card surely brings a whole atmosphere around it.. It shows the true turmoil and questioning of things and trying to stay on the right track. Life is full things that try to get us from that and full of choices. You did well to portray that here.

But I am also very sorry to hear that for your friend... It really sounds tragic and sad. She probably meant life itself to him.
