"Meteora" is a bit too angsty, but again, I just didn't enjoy the few vocals that were in "A Thousand Suns". They surely made up for it with "Iridescent" and "Waiting For The End" though. However....I'm still debating what I think about the video for Waiting For the End....>__>

And see, I think "Meteora" might be my least favourite, due to all the angsty-ness and no happy songs at all D: It used to be my favourite, at one time. "A Thousand Suns" definitely lacked in the songs with vocals category, but the songs that did have vocals were just so goooood ;w; I love Iridescent, Wretches and Kings, Blackout, Waiting for the End, Burning in the Skies, The Messenger, etc. Gaaah especially Iridescent and Wretches and Kings. LOVE THOSE SONGS TO BITS.

Chester's voice isn't made for that song xD;; If he sang softer, like "My December" or something, maybe, but....no. Mike should have done it~
"A Thousand Suns" is my least favorite (with the exception of "Waiting For The End") because there were too many songs without a ton of singing, in my opinion. But "Minutes to Midnight" was an instant love. Seriously. I think it's my favorite. I agree, hopefully other fans will learn to accept that they are...ya know, ARTISTS, and they're gonna experiment with their art! >__<

I feel the same way. Angsty, without a doubt. ^ ^; It's true that Mike doesn't get as much sound, but he sings a lot more now. I like his singing almost as much as I like his rapping. I actually almost think he should have sang "The Messenger" instead of Chester. Chester's voice is SO powerful. WAY too powerful for the sound of that song! He was out-singing the instruments like crazy! xD But yes, fans can be so picky! ;____; I've loved Linkin Park for years, and I think both their sounds are great. It took a little bit more effort for me to fall in love with "A Thousand Suns," unlike "Minutes to Midnight" which was instant love. But, still, after a couple of listens it really grew on me. I hope the same thing will happen to other fans too! Q AQ

The first two albums were definitely angry to me, too. A lot of angst in them, I thought. The newest two seemed to have more meaning and the music was much more emotional rather than just hateful. They had some songs that weren't full of anger and hate on their first two, and I did enjoy them a lot and Mike surely doesn't sing/rap enough on the new ones, but I think all four of them are amazing. People are just gripping because not many fans can accept when a band decides to change their sound. I don't get that. I support my favorite bands no matter what they do~ I can't pick a favorite album though xD
