I've only seen Black Jack in english (somewhere around or between 10-15 episodes); I have the 2nd DVD collection (with Biohazard, Trauma, Parasite, and Mutation [Suncoast when it was still a store]) and I found Incubation at the Book Off in the Westminster Mall (CA), the first being $40 (I think) and the other was either $5 or $7. I'm always eager to find rare anime that I had seen before and are hard to come by now. ^^

hmm, well, i'd have to disagree. to me, black jack has a very cold personality. he's had it rough, that's why. i do not mean that i think he is a BAD or MEAN person, just a cold one.

anyway, thank you! and i know what you mean about dvds! i only have one Black Jack DVD, and i found it at Salvation Army! (weird place to find such a rare item) It was only one dollar. lol. It was not subtitled, it was actually in English (I didn't realize that it had been done in English... on the internet all you can find are fan subs)
the recent series (Black Jack 21) has not been released in the US (at least, I have not come across it) You can watch the entire series on Youtube, and it is very well done.
hopefully, they will translate it one day! They just recently released Rosario Vampire in America... I can't wait to watch it!!!
Things of Black Jack are hard to come by...especially english dubbed dvds.
But I don't think that Black Jack is cold on the outside (if you want cold, look at Sanzo [Saiyuki Reload]). I would have to say that the coldest thing about him would have to be those fees! @.@ ...But he is generous sometimes about them (maybe it depends on the people paying)
