...I... Thank you ^^ I'm glad you think this card still feels hopeful. I was worried it wasn't quite positive enough for what I was trying to say. But you seem to have got what I meant, hee hee.
Hmm, you're right, I should take things slow and quit worrying. I don't know, I just felt I had to explain a little and make some sort of update. I'd had a bad few weeks and I find it helps to vent, I just worry about complaining... But you've all been so supportive, thank you.

*rushes in with textbooks in hand still* Busy-ness cannot deter me from the beauty that is Anna-chan's work! xD
You know, Anna-chan, I read your post about feeling like you weren't being completely honest with us, and really I wanted to say that it's okay! We all have our own way of dealing with certain situations and feelings, and for you to have trouble expressing those feelings exactly to us is not uncommon in the world. =) Keeping things to yourself does not make you any less loveable, kind or caring, and I know that for a fact. You are one of the sweetest people I know, and you aren't afraid to put a foot forward for someone else when needed.
My sister kind of has a similar problem, and she's trying to get out of her shell of keeping things to herself as well. But you know, it takes time, and just because you are going through that little stage of trying to step out of that shell a bit to trust others more with your feelings whether good or bad, doesn't mean you owe us anything in terms of explanations of your life. We're your friends, and we're here for you whenever you want an ear to listen. ^^ If you have trouble asking, we'll check up on you by sending a PM first, don't worry.
I'm sorry I wasn't more aware of your situation with Craig because I was being naive and took what you said probably too lightly. But just know what we're here for you and want to help you in any way you can in your journey to try to mold yourself to become the person you want to be, k? =) *super hugs* We love you!
NOW LONG POST ASIDE XD
AH YOUTH, THE BLOSSOMINGS OF LOVE!
(that's my personal quote now...I don't know how it happened)
This is SO gorgeous...and I love that you chose a sketchy image instead of a super refined one, because there's something about this image that hits so close to home. You can't see her face, so you don't know what her expression may indicate about what she's feeling(I hadn't even looked at the original scan when I saw your card haha), yet you chose to keep the original bright colors of the scan, which makes me feel somewhat hopeful. I'm glad that you didn't adjust the hues in this card, because it really makes the viewer feel something. It looks great in combination with the bold, maroon stripe.
I know it's a minor detail, but I really like how you added the little dots around the "hopeful" and "heartache." It adds SO much emphasis and emotion...you really have no idea haha. This is a really powerful card, Anna-chan. Best of luck to you in the challenge and to you for wanting to step out of your shell! ^^ I'm really happy for you in wanting to make that change for yourself, and I'll support you all the way! Keep up the lovely work, my sweet friend! And don't give up! *hugs*
