Frankl's work can be difficult reading at times, in two senses: of course, since it's geared towards philosophically influenced psychotherapy his works come with sometimes difficult terminology; and it's also difficult in the sense that it deeply questions and probes how individuals give themselves meaning. In that latter sense, I think it's useful to anyone if they read his works. By all means, read his stuff. I encourage people to find a "why" they can call their own.
Yeah, I will definitely check it out. I'm actually going through a pretty tough time in my life right now, you think this book will help me out? I hope I'll be able to find my "why" soon, so I bet this book will be super inspiring.
Yeah, Frankl was definitely influenced by some of Nietzsche's ideas, especially that quote. Working withing an existentialist influenced psychotherapy, Frankl thought it important that individuals have a "why" in a specific task: to have a goal entirely your own. His work is very interesting, and worth reading!

I think so too. :) It makes me want to read the book, Man's search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl because I think it was based off this quote.

Any creation that uses Nietzsche will catch my attention, especially one that uses this quote. It gives it another level, I think.
