Hm, Clannad and Kanon.. those are popular anime which I haven't watched because I was never interested in the artwork. But after watching Air (haven't finished it though), I'm starting to get interested in Key products. C=
And yes, I'll probably watch Clannad, right after I finish watching Air.

You sure want to cry (゜゜). They are Clannad and Kanon (Everything from key is very sad). I don't remember how much Kanon made cry 'cause I've watched it long time go, but it sure made me cry a lot (´；д；`). As for Clannad, I cried nonstop from episodes 16-21 of After Story. First season of Clannad was also sad and made me but not as much as After story.
However, if you want to watch it, don't search for pictures or any info. There's a character which her name is a spoiler, so avoid reading the tags or wiki if you want to watch it  (￣。￣ノ) .

Air, the ending was very sad and disappointing (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ.
It's good for me, usually when I start watching anime it because I'm meant to like it X3. It's a slice of life/drama anime so many would find it rather boring. These sad/almost realistic usually interest you at the end, it gets all sad suddenly （；へ：）.

It does have beautiful scenic pictures (*ﾉωﾉ)

I don't know if this one has a sad ending or not, if you want, wait to finish watching it and tell you (｡･ω･｡)  (it's just 11 episodes)

I heard it's sad too, though the pictures never gave me that impression (‘-’*).

I'm not a fan of sad stories, especially the ones with sad endings. But there are times when I'm bored with plain happy things. ^^;
