It's true that a lot of people could use some constructive criticism to get better. Advice is helpful. However, one of your comments being "please work harder on your art" without any suggestions as to how it could be improved, I can see how that might offend someone. Advice on improvement is helpful, but maybe you could also try focusing a little on the positive as well.
Also, not all of us have the same editing software for our works. I hand-draw everything I do and I don't have photoshop. So I know that my wallpapers and cards don't have the same quality as some others, but until I can get photoshop and learn to use it, that's the best I can do.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
I don't try to be rude. I'm trying to critique seeing that people are complaining that no one critiques on this site. And most people I've commented responded back saying they appreciated my comment and will try to improve. It's just how you take my comment. If you're oversensitive then I can see why you'd be upset.
Um. So. I've been seeing a lot of your comments today and I've noticed that they are often very critical, some even harsh. May I suggest constructive criticism rather than comments that can often seem like outright insults? A lot of your comments could be helpful, but a lot of them seem kind of mean. A lot of us have to work on our art. That's why we keep practicing.
I'm sure you did not write those intending to be rude or anything, but outright criticism isn't really something we do on theO. There is a wide range of styles on this site, so if you don't like one person's work, you don't have to view it.

I agree with you on this. If you want to criticize something, just be nice by sending them an e-mail here on theO.
