the writting on her face is the poem cut up, I used it as a symbol of her thoughts and feelings. The orange skies are basically her escape from the world. She is a geisha who is forced to live a life of perfection, she is a living piece of art work and must continue playing that role until she is old enough to move out because they don't need her anymore.
