Entry for the Random Roulette challenge~
This is my second entry in a card challenge :D Though, this card proved to be more fun to make than the other one; I think it has to do with using light colors and stuff - I've always been a fan of pastel colors!
This time, I used textures. However, I didn't use any gradients, which I haven't done in a while. I'm happily resisting XD
The quote comes from Stephen King, my favorite author: "The place where you made your stand never mattered. Only that you were there...and still on your feet." I love the way he writes because he can express a multitude of emotions; his novels are complex without being difficult (I've always thought that some writers write something random and then say it's "deep" because nobody can understand what they wrote about).
I believe this quote can be interpreted in different ways, but my version is that being brave when the time counts is more important than the situation itself. Further clarification: facing your fears is crucial.
Easiest part: fixing the colors (used the Auto Levels option in Image -> Adjustments in Photoshop CS2 <3)
Hardest part: positioning the text (especially the important words)
Scan used: Miss You by Thuyanh
Brushes (C) respective creators.
Textures: Texture 8 by The-Dana, AdoraBubble

Comments, favs and hugs are welcome and very appreciated <3
