Today (Jan 21) is the birthday of a friend of mine. Someone I've known since I was seven. But, since we've sort of grown apart from one another, I have no way of letting him know that I remembered his birthday. Sometimes I've been very upset with him for letting us grow apart, even though I know it's not his fault. So, in a kind of way that I won't bore you with, this quote represents us perfectly.
