Heyyyy guys! *hugs* how are all of you? XD It's been a while since my last card...I think...maybe a week or more? D: I DO NOT KNOW. Anyhoo, I had to enter Hi-chan's wonderful challenge. <3 And yes! A very different-looking style for me. It's dedicated to Lory because all of her beautiful wallpapers and cards inspired this style. :] *hugs her* I LOVE YOUR WORK LORY. I AM ALWAYS ENVIOUS OF HOW YOU WORK WITH TEXTURES AND BLENDING EFFECTS. So I tried pathetically to mimic it. XD Sorry!

In all honesty, the card wasn't going to end up like this at all...it was just going to be in my usual style. >>' And it looked too boring! So I used some old paper texture I got somewhere a while ago, haha. I set it on "lighten" and then put more dark brushes on top so that the characters would be visible...and then I erased some away and such...and yeah. I think it looks ok. Maybe. ^^; Anyway, I used this scan. Animal KINGdom, eh? Well, what's better than the "king of the jungle," the lion? Haha. So yeah, some brushes, gradients, texture, and typography later...and this is what you get.
