Welcome to Amberground -- a land stratified into three sections and lighted only by an artificial sun that shines over its capitol, Akatsuki. It's the Letter Bees who connect the hearts of this divided land with the letters they carry. Lag Seeing is one such courier, inspired by his hero, the Letter Bee Gauche Suede.
Don't write this off as just a show about people delivering letters! There are plenty of juicy mysteries to delve into, lots of action and a colorful cast of fun characters! I'd definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves a good story. For concerned parents and discreet viewers, it's also one of the cleanest anime out there, with the exception of some language and some light innuendo. (I'd rate it PG/E10+)
It's both an anime and a manga. The anime is finished, but the book is still running, so I'd probably recommend the manga over the anime, just because we all know what happens when an anime finishes before the manga does -- not to say that the ending of the anime isn't good; it just wasn't quite wrapped up.
Hope you enjoy!
