Expressions should be labeled (so we know what you're trying to express!). That way I can judge how well you hit the mark.

A little dialogue is fine, but I would highly encourage not cluttering your expressions with too much dialogue. The expression itself should be able to "explain" itself, if that makes sense. For instance, an angry expression should be seen without having a lot of, say, "I hate this stupid whatever blah thing!"

I'm thinking about doing these for some of my OCs from a story I'm writing. I was thinking I'd illustrate facial expressions from scenes from the story. Is it alright if I add dialogue or notes for context?

Glad you approve. :) I thought of this challenge as I was challenged myself to draw different facial expressions and didn't do very well. It's difficult doing it well!
