Here's a question. If I were to draw the original image and then trace over my image so that the original drawing can't be seen, would that be allowed?
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
No, it is in fact a wallpaper challenge. That's part of the difficulty, since almost all walls are done digitally. Like I said, participants may digitally edit as much as they'd like.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
Not if you give credit and source. They actually have an option for that in any submission. I mean, everyone should use their judgement on what is or is not plagiarism.

Three questions:
1. Could they be old drawings, or do we need to draw them specifically for this?
2. Could I use sketches (like a person without all the necessary features or limbs)
3. Do other forms of art count? Like if I created something else with my hands and added a picture of it as the main focus.
I think maybe they mean using a picture as a template? Like eyeing the picture and drawing it similar (which I believe is okay as long as you give credit)

This'll give me an excuse to do my Tsukiumi from Sekirei drawing I've been wanting to do for awhile :P
Thanks for the motivation

@Karmira:
I think it would probably be better if the hand-drawn part was done by your hand. That's what makes it challenging.

Can we use someone else's hand-drawn art instead of our own if I give credit?

@Keba Si Rota:
No, the hand-drawn aspect must show in your work.

this sounds like fun, only thing is this is submitted as a wall paper challenge, did you mean to make this a fanart challenge?

@AnnaKanda:
Yes , yes, and yes, as long as there was an aspect of your entry that was hand-drawn.
