Count me in this challenge! I've been into fanfics as well to kill my stress... although it's smut so I'll try digging into my bookmarks for the safe ones because I think I've read a few fluffy and cheesy innocent ones ;D

Yes, you can use your own fics/characters! I think it's in #2 that you don't have to have an actual representation of the characters, only a quote/excerpt from the story.
Very cool challenge! Too bad I don't read fanfics. I wish I could use my own characters from my own stories...well...I might be able to since I have some that friends have drawn of them...hmmm...we shall see. I mean, would that count? Using my own characters? Or no? Just fanfics based on already made series?
