It's not that they don't have the money. I think it has something to do with Aniplex not allowing them to renew the license. At least, that's my understanding.

It's odd that they're losing the rights to Brotherhood just as they're re-releasing the original FMA. And as one of the biggest distributing companies, dub-wise, they should have the money to hang on to their stuff.
