Lol yah,working hard to finish this semester (begs for it to end!).Your drawing technique is so different than mine now, I used to draw a lot with burshes ad accomplish effects solely by Skull. But now that I have techlogy ,I rather rely on that to make the coloring.I use a bit of brush still but just at the final steps.Oh yeah,using a especial brush to do the lineart is a great plan,you will have to pass t one day XD.Humm I wish I had time to draw*maybe at Friday ).The only thing I been able to do lately is fall asleep when ever I sit on something (*actually I just took a mini nap due to energy shortage ).
Haha yeah that was a new rule she made me think of.Let’s say what happens if you go and bite a zombie*of course you get sick!).So I’m thinking of adding that when I have a bit of time.
Oh at my school it seems I am the only pro at English ,the only person that skipped all the levels lol .It’s great your school is aiming to both fields, I also think that fantasy books are just the best.

I actually use only one brush while coloring - airbrush pen opacity flow. And for sketching I use a custom brush (found a tutorial on the internet link and that brush is way better than the normal brush for sketching). Coloring takes quite long because I want to get it as realistic as possible. It's really hard to get the right shades and colors to make the object/character/etc pop out of the drawing. I'm already half-done with my entry :3
Ah yes! She just told me that she was allowed to bite someone without being bitten! She was really happy about that :P Hmm though I don't see that rule in the contest ^^;
Perhaps I like writing and reading English more than Dutch because I read a lot of english fantasy books and at school they put a lot more effort in english - for the subject english we have to write a lot more assignments and high quality assignments than we have to do for dutch (our school is bilingual :D).
Aw thanks :D At DA I could submit photo's, but I don't really do that because I want to keep my photo and art gallery separated and it's too much work to create another account on DA and submit photos there (don't like the idea). I did make an account on www.photo-lucidity.com but that site was inactive - there were only like three to four users regularly active there.

I think I don't have that big talent at photography .Somehow I know you do because you compose your artworks using only 2 things .Shadows and colors .So those skills are really handy in photography for sure.
I always loose every thing I get,well at least I used to.Kinda really keep an eye on my tablet each 30 seconds just to make sure I don't loose it(goes check right now lol).
Hummm contests are indeed fun ,they are a lot of work but it's worth it.I think I'm already satisfied with the results,maybe will do this an annual event huhuhuhu .

Ok then I won't put more people in one drawing, I totally understand ;P I've already made a sketch of my entry and the coloring is probably going to take a long time. I really want to know how realisitic I can make it. It takes lots of time and to change the lighting and play with shadows and stuff - I still need to get used to it. Lately (as in the last half year) I start drawings but I do not always finish them - probably just because the coloring takes so long and adding details to coloring can be endless :P
If I'm doing any art, it usually digital art at the moment. Sometimes I do miss traditional art and wonder whether I won't loose my traditional art or how big distance in skills between them will get. But the thing is that I'm loving digital art so much at the moment that I just keep drawing on the comp :P

I'm glad to hear you like fantasy and adventure books! I always read english books - not dutch ones - you might already know that I'd rather write and read english than dutch xD I'm not good at writing dutch, my sentence structure is sometimes really messed up XD lol. Anyway, there are a lot more english fantasy books then dutch ones so that's awesome.
oh and last week I went to a photography convention where famous photographers held presentations. Do you know the photo of the asian girl with green eyes? link. We saw him and his presentation. Truely amazing photos and all the other presentations just made me want to travel and make stunning trips to iceland, greenland or simply national parks. I don't have a camera at the moment and I have an eye on one particular one. I'm still hesitating whether I'm going to buy it, because at the moment I'm quite content with not having a camera but when I do have a camera I know I will use it a lot and just go outside and take pictures in our garden. And if I buy that one I'll have a better camera than my dad XDD
Back to the contests: getting entries is always uncertain. With the toilet contests at least 15 people said they would enter but did not enter in the end. But with your idea of biting people and making them zombies and thereby reaching friends of friends will most likely succeed :D
But I have to go to my next lesson, chemistry whoo XD

Yeah it´s just the best time for this challenge , the night sky with cold and darkness will help conceal all the zombies.Get all the weapons you can and fortify on a nice building ,staying away from road and the big cities is also adviced.
For now it´s not a problem ,zombies will target the weak first. The best of the luck in survival Fluffy , even thought there is no warranty.

Yeah it’s actually a more original type challenge .I kinda had a bit of inspiration but the final touches were Krukon and Vrd-07 that made many pictures with the word bite. So I started getting this weird urge to bite people actually. Kinda can't bite my friends in real life lol ,that would be weird. Yeah this haves all the close and personal thing of the challenge :3. I wonder who will you bite in your picture ,and how this will extend XD.
I will have my exams to ,so no easy going weekend for me. It’s actually gona be a hard working weekend . But I want to make a little picture biting someone(of the nine zombies) ,I just gave that feeling and it won’t go till it’s realized . Well it was my pleasure huhuhu , making contest with someone that supports you is a lot more easy. Kinda actually though you will be there to give me a hand and that’s why I decided to make the challenge . But couldn’t say much because you were involved in the idea hahaha .
It was a faith jump and I was rather nervous ,if I get 9 entry’s I think I will really cover my initial entry estimate for the contest .It’s not easy to decide to do something that is risky, and this new type of challenge is.
Yeah I was thinking of writing an endless comment to each zombie , we go to encourage the zombie clan to go out and hunt .I gave a little bite comment to each of the persons in their artworks but I had funny problems with the challenge.
For example , When I sent the list of guests some of the names were not accepted( don’t know why . So I had to pm each zombie with it’s warning , you were bitten message .Even with that I mixed the lists and so I didn’t send a pm to one (I will have to look who of the 9 didn’t got the pm O_O ).I went to sleep after all the struggle at 1:00 am to get up at 7:00 ,challenges can be a hole challenge even for the author.
And I have to stay in school 12 hours!!!

How did you think of this great idea? I'm really curious. It's awesome and if people respond good and actually enter it can become a huge contest. I want to make a huuuge comment but i can't think of anything at the moment :P Next week is exam week for me, but I only have four exams and I think it'll be alright. My brother is now studying at a uni and he's visiting this weekend again :D And my parents are leaving this weekend for a small trip to England. I'm doing great at the moment, though I'm not really drawing a lot lately. Dunno why actually ^^ I'm also reading an amazing fantasy book/series. The author is Steven Erikson and the series is the Malazan Empire. The story is really complicated and sometimes a bit difficult to understand (you have to read those books at least twice :P) but it's totally awesome. The characters and empire and everything is very creative. The books are now my favorite fantasy books =3 whoo
An amazing friend of mine is now sitting next to me and wants me to write why zombies are good for the world ehehe :P And she's thinking of creating an account on theotaku as well!
Thanks for helping with judging! I still need to get the other judges opinions.. hopefully they'll send them within two or three days (I know them in real life so if they don't it won't be a problem :P).

I also made some little changes and included some things at the challenge format ,seems modifying a challge to make it fit better is a good plan.
O wow ,then you must be like me.I actually write a lot better in English than on my mature language .I feel just more comfortable and I have a nice vocabulary .I guess it's just getting used to it.
You should be curious ,there are many things I will love to tell you but need to wait.They could spoil the fun of the challenge bwhahahaha.

Oh yeah that picture ,actually I seen a especial report of who took it and what happened to the girl with the green eyes.Actually you are not gona belive me but she is now all fat and not cute at all X_x .
I used to call her the laser eyes girl.
I think I don't have that big talent at photography .Somehow I know you do because you compose your artworks using only 2 things .Shadows and colors .So those skills are really handy in photography for sure.
I always loose every thing I get,well at least I used to.Kinda really keep an eye on my tablet each 30 seconds just to make sure I don't loose it(goes check right now lol).
Hummm contests are indeed fun ,they are a lot of work but it's worth it.I think I'm already satisfied with the results,maybe will do this an annual event huhuhuhu .
About loosing your traditional edge,don't worry I know that won't happen :3.

Yes you are ,if you want to participate or not a zombie might go and just bite you .At the beginning there will be few but then the chain will grow XD . Making a picture with some good weapons might hep you defend at the end!

Ok then I won't put more people in one drawing, I totally understand ;P I've already made a sketch of my entry and the coloring is probably going to take a long time. I really want to know how realisitic I can make it. It takes lots of time and to change the lighting and play with shadows and stuff - I still need to get used to it. Lately (as in the last half year) I start drawings but I do not always finish them - probably just because the coloring takes so long and adding details to coloring can be endless :P
If I'm doing any art, it usually digital art at the moment. Sometimes I do miss traditional art and wonder whether I won't loose my traditional art or how big distance in skills between them will get. But the thing is that I'm loving digital art so much at the moment that I just keep drawing on the comp :P

I'm glad to hear you like fantasy and adventure books! I always read english books - not dutch ones - you might already know that I'd rather write and read english than dutch xD I'm not good at writing dutch, my sentence structure is sometimes really messed up XD lol. Anyway, there are a lot more english fantasy books then dutch ones so that's awesome.
oh and last week I went to a photography convention where famous photographers held presentations. Do you know the photo of the asian girl with green eyes? link. We saw him and his presentation. Truely amazing photos and all the other presentations just made me want to travel and make stunning trips to iceland, greenland or simply national parks. I don't have a camera at the moment and I have an eye on one particular one. I'm still hesitating whether I'm going to buy it, because at the moment I'm quite content with not having a camera but when I do have a camera I know I will use it a lot and just go outside and take pictures in our garden. And if I buy that one I'll have a better camera than my dad XDD
Back to the contests: getting entries is always uncertain. With the toilet contests at least 15 people said they would enter but did not enter in the end. But with your idea of biting people and making them zombies and thereby reaching friends of friends will most likely succeed :D
But I have to go to my next lesson, chemistry whoo XD

Yeah it´s just the best time for this challenge , the night sky with cold and darkness will help conceal all the zombies.Get all the weapons you can and fortify on a nice building ,staying away from road and the big cities is also adviced.

Well since you are on the list bite anyone you would like to turn into a zombie, can't force them but maybe the person you bite will bite other as well. Humm well actually I was thinking of just one per picture(if not you just draw all your friends in 1 entry lol ). Maybe I can give you the chance to bite to people on each picture but let me think about it XD.
Yeah it’s actually a more original type challenge .I kinda had a bit of inspiration but the final touches were Krukon and Vrd-07 that made many pictures with the word bite. So I started getting this weird urge to bite people actually. Kinda can't bite my friends in real life lol ,that would be weird. Yeah this haves all the close and personal thing of the challenge :3. I wonder who will you bite in your picture ,and how this will extend XD.
I will have my exams to ,so no easy going weekend for me. It’s actually gona be a hard working weekend . But I want to make a little picture biting someone(of the nine zombies) ,I just gave that feeling and it won’t go till it’s realized . Fantasy books are my favorite also, I would say fantasy// adventure books. Well kinda I’m looking to end your no drawing block :3 .Haven’t heard of the author but I will give it a little search when I go home (still at school).
It would be awesome to have your friend here ,hope she haves the account soon ^_^. Let’s get the world over zombie control bwhahhaha. I’m also looking to change my avatar to a more zombie like(just to help the atmosphere a bit :3 ).
Well it was my pleasure huhuhu , making contest with someone that supports you is a lot more easy. Kinda actually though you will be there to give me a hand and that’s why I decided to make the challenge . But couldn’t say much because you were involved in the idea hahaha .
It was a faith jump and I was rather nervous ,if I get 9 entry’s I think I will really cover my initial entry estimate for the contest .It’s not easy to decide to do something that is risky, and this new type of challenge is.
Yeah I was thinking of writing an endless comment to each zombie , we go to encourage the zombie clan to go out and hunt .I gave a little bite comment to each of the persons in their artworks but I had funny problems with the challenge.
For example , When I sent the list of guests some of the names were not accepted( don’t know why . So I had to pm each zombie with it’s warning , you were bitten message .Even with that I mixed the lists and so I didn’t send a pm to one (I will have to look who of the 9 didn’t got the pm O_O ).I went to sleep after all the struggle at 1:00 am to get up at 7:00 ,challenges can be a hole challenge even for the author.
And I have to stay in school 12 hours!!!

Uh-oh... THE VAMP-ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE HAS BEGUN! It seems I'll have to raid my local former armory; maybe they still have some weapons hidden around. Then I'm on the run.

I can see it now: sprinting down the sidewalk in the cold November midnight air, the tap of my shoes against the concrete and my heavy breathing the only audible sounds... Then a zombie jumps out in front of me, and I scream like a banshee and clobber it with a baseball bat before running away.

(of course you can't really force them but it would be fun if people actually responded to this and kept the disease going :D) And can I bite more people in one drawing? How did you think of this great idea? I'm really curious. It's awesome and if people respond good and actually enter it can become a huge contest. By making people bite others you make the challenge a lot more personal and it extends to friends of friends of friends etc. Brilliant work Angel!!! :D Tehee x3
I want to make a huuuge comment but i can't think of anything at the moment :P Next week is exam week for me, but I only have four exams and I think it'll be alright. My brother is now studying at a uni and he's visiting this weekend again :D And my parents are leaving this weekend for a small trip to England. I'm doing great at the moment, though I'm not really drawing a lot lately. Dunno why actually ^^ I'm also reading an amazing fantasy book/series. The author is Steven Erikson and the series is the Malazan Empire. The story is really complicated and sometimes a bit difficult to understand (you have to read those books at least twice :P) but it's totally awesome. The characters and empire and everything is very creative. The books are now my favorite fantasy books =3 whoo
An amazing friend of mine is now sitting next to me and wants me to write why zombies are good for the world ehehe :P And she's thinking of creating an account on theotaku as well!
Thanks for helping with judging! I still need to get the other judges opinions.. hopefully they'll send them within two or three days (I know them in real life so if they don't it won't be a problem :P).
