It should be okay, but I'd encourage you to be as original as you can and try to shade, even if it's only with that pencil. I totally forgot this challenge is going on. You might want to check the deadline. It might have already expired! (And I still have to judge it then''' *scratches head*)
I would at least like you to make one of the pictures new for this specific challenge as the centerpiece. Y'know, have the others focused around it. I would feel unfair to have someone use all old pieces when others are making new ones.
Well, I think I could take your entry as long as you weren't a year old when it was submitted. BUT! I'm going to host a 'middle-aged' challenge in July or so after this is finished for members that are 1 year to 3 years of membership on theO. If I were you I would wait until that one. Great art can't be rushed and it gives you about three months to come up with a gold mine idea and then the contest time to work it out to it's fullest.

But, I'm thinking of making a 'Middle-Aged' Member challenge. That'll include members like you and me who have been on the site for 1-3 years. It'll be up when this one is over, so keep your eyes pealed! (It will have the same requirements and such, but just for the people who have been on longer.) If I could make more than one challenge, I'd put the new one up too.
