They'll reveal the WINNER on June, but the finalists will be displayed at Kinokuniya in Manhattan - but the date isn't given so that people won't send their friends or go there to vote for themselves...

This year the Anime Festival contest is really tough. Some of the artworks I saw goes way beyond me. Luck to them all.

I submitted my contest entry but didn't realize you had to enter it through the challenges website since I had followed the links from the 'new york anime festival' homepage.

I didn't find out till later this morning that it wasn't part of the contest submissions. Is there anyway to fix this?

I know what you mean. Dang I worked really hard on mine too and it wouldn't even count for the contest. I've learnt my lesson...

I'm late. At exactly midnight the submission closed. And then I had trouble submitting it, worked on my sixth try... :'( but it was too late by then.

Is there any way my entry can still count? I submitted as just a regular artwork now.

If not that's fine, I'm just really disappointed, I wanna scream!!!!

They didn't change it, this page has said the same thing since day 1. Finalists still get their tickets and manga volume (which I'm hoping is some SZS)

wait the finalists don't receive physical prizes? It definitely stated before that 10 finalists will receive 2 tickets and a volume of manga each...there's no way they could have changed it. Right?
