Oooooh! What a cheerful fairy! ^_^ Very cute, Erin-chan!
Believe it or not, I drew a fairy for a classmate as well! (Spooky coincidence.) It was recent, but Ive just been lazy about showing it to you guys here on The Otaku. Make sure I remember to get around to doing that!
Anywho, onto the fairy.
The heads lookin a little large to me compared to the body.
In addition, both her upper and lower-body look too skinny for their height. Its good for fairies to have a light, slender frame, but here its starting to get disproportional.
Her ears also look a little too small for the way theyre shaped, as well as a little too far down (though, take that critique with a grain of salt, cause Lord knows Im not an expert on ear-placement. ^_^; ).
However, most everything else is looking good, your color-choice in particular.
As is usual with Erin-art, your skin-tone leaves relatively nothing to be desired.
Im also loving how your choice of pink for the hair and yellow for the shirt contrast each other. The green eyes add to this effect.
The wings are also excellent for someone new to fairy-art.
They look convincingly transparent, and Im enjoying the way you combined the pink & yellow hues (they also work well with the afore mentioned shirt and hair).
Do you plan on trying your hand at fairy artwork again sometime soon, I think I have something you may be interested in. Its a snappy tutorial on How To Draw Fairies by one of the best non-pro manga artists Ive ever seen: Manga Punk Sai.
Sound like something youd enjoy seeing? Just tell me if youre interested and Ill give em to you. ^_^
Its a cute pic! DOn't worry about the foot. Its better than what I can do. ^^;;;
The head looks a little too big to me. But it's still really cute. ^^
