Without lines, it looks kind of strange. If you don't want to draw lines to divide the arms from the torso, shading and tone can be used to help distinguish the arms from the torso. Adding shadow beneath or above the arms and lightening the colour of the sleves a bit might work better. Hope I was helpful. ^^;;
