Wow! Nice work on this one too! ^o^ I�m yet to play either Kingdom Hearts, but I still always enjoy artwork like this. First off, your anatomy here is excellent. The shoulders, pectorals, hands, upper-arms & fore-arms, stomachs and everything else look spectacular. The eyes are excellent too, both in shape and the direction in which they are looking. Great job on the facial-expressions as well. Both of the ones seen here are very hard to capture. As far as character-design elements, Axel looks great. I�m not a big fan of his design normally, but you managed to make him look great here. You did a great job on rendering how it would look if he tied his hair back (which is something I�ve seen no other artist do with him). You allowed it too keep its unique texture, and it really shows in this pic. Equally excellent job on his clothing. The red & black for his shirt flow well with Axel�s color scheme, and the shorts don�t contrast too much with the rest of him. As for Roxas, nice job on his clothes as well. The colors are especially nice, and they too work well with his color-scheme, especially with the setting. However, I think the shortness of his shirt-tail looks a little silly. I know it�s summer and all, but such short shirt-tails don�t look very masculine on a male, and really end up detracting from their design. The skin-tones on this piece are fantastic. I don�t see how you achieve such perfection on picture after picture after picture, but I�m starting to suspect witchcraft. XD Just kidding, just kidding. On a minor note, the ice-cream doesn�t look very fluid here. The dripping doesn�t look realistic, and that�s very important when it�s affected by motion in a piece like this. I�d suggest working a little more on your splash-physics (drippy things like ice-cream, as well as water-splashes, blood, spit, spills, rain and other kinds of liquid particle-effects) to add that necessary kick to materials like that. By the way, before I go, might I ask what sea-salt ice-cream is? I�ve heard it mentioned in multiple KH2 pics, and I was wondering if you could tell me what it is, and what role does it play in the game? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, this is a particularly excellent piece of art, Erin-chan. You should be especially proud of this piece. Nice job. b~_'

I haven't played Kingdom Hearts, but this picture looks awesome! I really like the character's poses and interaction. I also like the outfits and color combinations. They both look really spiffy!

Don't worry about the background. There are quite a few manga-ka who dislike drawing backgrounds (which is one of the reasons why they have assistants). The characters look good, and the denim effect on Axel's pants is great. ^_^
