Screw what anyone else says, this is AWESOME. *nods really quickly* To me, the only thing wrong with it is the Art of Otaku thing, but you already explained that. :P This is very well done. You should be proud. ^.^

Heh heh, I like it. Hmm... but I do see what you meant about it looking a little rushed. It's not perfect, but then again, nothing ever is. Good effort overall though. I'd like to see a drawing of Kon from you one of these days, unless you did one already and I missed it. *thinks* ttyl ^__^

VileFantom votes no on a lot of things, but every pic he/she has chosen to comment on were all superb, so even if his/her verdict is no, still feel good XD As for me, this is better than I could ever draw, rushed or not. I love it, really, I do. To the untrained eye, this pic looks perfect, and I coudln't find any of the faults everybody else said. I admit, the speed lines are a LITTLE bit crooked, but that may have been what you wanted, or, as you said earlier, you may have rushed. And if you had rushed, that makes this even better, because it's still so great.

I love it! I looks like you used charcoal at one point, it's some stuff I use also, colour pencils too, you wouldn't believe how well crayons can come in handy lol I agree with Vile on one thing but not all, you're not going to be Van Gogh, & enough that you did do a good job & tried hard with it, it's not like you're out to be the best in America, so the thumbs down should probably go, Vile.

Well, I actually agree with most of the critiques (I was kinda hoping no one would notice the speed lines) and all I can say in my defence is that this was quite rushed. I only found out about the contest like two days before I drew it, and most of that time was spent agonizing over what to do. And as for the logo, the reason I did that with photoshop was because on paper this is actually a fairly small drawing, so my plan of having Art of Otaku stickers flopped because I am not capable of drawing that small. So sorry for that. And yes, I know my blending sucks, but thank you for the critique. Honest is better than nothing in my opinion. ^_^ Besides, now I can improve on what you pointed out!
