He's not black. I was using colored markers in this drawing. I don't have peach or flesh, but I have a variety of light tans and browns. I was using what I could to get close to Asian or caucasian flesh.

Think of this, in 10 years, Rin will go from a little 8-year-old girl to a young woman. However Sesshomaru will remain the same.
