    The expression, though very simple, is so powerful in this piece it grabs you right away. The shading is nice done too, though I think your pic may have been a victim of the scanner, some of the ligher shades have a bit of an artifacting to them, but it's not pronounced enough to be a real detractor from the work. Great job.
