before anything else. *wear an iron suit(anti-flames)* What's awesome/hot in this pict!? even my little sister can color like this. The subject color is Black(Squall) and the BG color is orange,violet, gray , dark green, light green and a little pink(dont you knew the basic 'color harmony' its only a flat color i cant cant see the shading.). If u draw it just for fun(its ok) BUT if ur intension is make the viewers pop their eyes out coz its kicking awesome (im sorry mate but im not impress) im a big critic of Final Fantasy VIII - fanart =( im not insulting u i saw your art and im impress but not this one. sorry if i offended u.

A solid job. To improve, however, I would suggest a sharper tone of colors, and more shading. You might want to work on switching up the colors to give it more texture (such as in the sky, etc.). However, what I do like about this piece is that you have a wonderful style. Promising, to say the least. Keep up the good work!

You should really be proud of this one! It's your best piece, hands down!! Your technique and your coloring has improved ten fold!! The background is amazing!! I really love his hair!! The detail in it is so fine!!
