while i agree with the statment that if we didn't have oc's, it's not the end of life as we know it. i am however adament that they do add a certain flare that, while it isn't needed, makes just about every manga series fun. i mean, who honestly DOESN'T like a little spice to it. but, i agree. you dont need them to be creative (even though it is the only way some people can be creative... i mean no offence by that, btw.) and i love making my own stories, too. ^^ they're fun and exercises your imagination with a challenge to come up with something that will grab the reader and take them on a ride. not to mention, it's cool the way some people can come up with off the wall things that makes the story their own. ah, i'm blabbing to much... anywho, in short, i agree with everything you're saying. ^^ great job with the pic, btw. it's cute!! ^^

xD That's fine. I agree with that partially. Yea, it is sad if you need someone elses story to make your own. Fanfiction and OC's are great, they're a lot of fun to make and joke around with, etc. But it's just so...stupid that people think you NEED them. One of the main pro-oc pictures (not cherry's) said that. I was like "-__- You gotta be kidding me..." So yea, I just made this to give proof against both sides. You CAN make an OC and still be orginal, and you DON'T need OC's to be creative. I'm glad only one person missed that. ^-^ No problem with repeating. I've heard the same thing over and over again by both sides. Nothing new to really hear anymore. @w@

Owo PEOPLE SAID THAT, oh yeah they did, well theres no point for me to repeat anything DX im just saying i dont agree with that anyway, yeah ami when you said that if you need someone elses anime to amke a story of your own thats pathic, i agreed that, i have 15+ stories ALL of my own, i have like...i dunno i can't remeber my oc's that much but people are creative they just gotta break away from the OC CREATING MADNESS and create there own story. i think its just, poeple going on OC madess that makes them think that. i dunno if that was an exact quote but someone siad it, and i agreed. yeah im repeating stuff, i just wanted to say how i felt, even thou it was already said.

No problem Chimera. You went about it in a rather mature way, so I figured to give you the time of day. :] I hope your fanfic gets the credit it deserves. I just really got irritated at seeing some people say that creativity would be gone without OC's and people would stop being creative. Because it's not true. So thank you for taking time to listen to me, and understand my side as well. ^^ We need more people that will stop and take time to talk to each other here rather than break into an arguement.

Cherry, do you feel a constant need to argue? You totally missed the point on my picture and skipped to an agument. I put an arguement towards those hating OC's as well. Don't act as if I'm totally against you. :/ I refuse to backfire at you other than that, and I'm considering deleting your comment. And Chimera, that wasn't what I meant. If you can write that great a Naruto fanfic, then I'm assured that if you put your mindset to it that you could create just as equally a brilliant a original story. I just disagree that *cough* *announcer voice* "In a world with out OC's....Creativity has dropped, and a communty that was flourish is destoryed." That's what I think is just dumb. I agree, but I have to say that I don't think it's "quite sad" if someone needs a little bump from an anime or manga series to make their own characters. And you said to not call ourselves writers if we do this. Well I can tell you that I've been writing a Naruto fanfic, and it's over 100 pages because of how much time i spend on it to curve my writing skills. My OC in there is Aiyama, and now that I've made her, even though she is originally a ninja, she's been serialized in a lot of different places by me. Making fanfics helps curve someones writing skills and get a feel on how to make a good story. I'm actually doing a totally original story right now, with many many OCs for it, and if I hadn't been doing Naruto fanfics, I would hav never started with my own original story.
