Very cool idea! All of the characters you chose are hereos of anime. There are so many actually, but you chose some good ones! I would have also include Goku too! ^^

Hm... I think Kenshin's shoulders should be a little wider-- along with Ichigo's and InuYasha's ^_^;;
There are little bits and pieces of the line art that I think could be better, but I feel that the wonderful coloring makes up for it ^^
Your blending looks really good O.O
Great job with Yuusuke's school uniform ;P
And- and I especially love the shadings on Kenshin's face and... teh hair~
