I love when people interpret art, rather than seeing it as something pretty. So, you are not over-thinking it or anything like that. That said, I don't want to explain what it exactly means; that would ruin it--treat it like a textbook question!
I think you should it was one of my favs back then and maybe now I will be able to understand the style a lot better.Since I had practiced a lot I sued to see your art as a "whole unknown" style .Since I did never used Acrilics and watercolors in a good pic I really couldnt undertand much of the style.Now I can understand how you use watercolors(still Im green at Acrilics).
It´s great to have your pics back and hope to see more soon.They were my favs back to those days.

Admittedly, I don't know too much about art, but one thing I did notice is the very nice sense of balance in this piece. (i.e. how the moon is directly above Haku's head & how the branches in the background branch away from him.) Great piece. ♥
I'm glad that you can see some of the subtle things in this art. I like returning to someone's art and seeing it "in a new light". If you can see my artwork differently, you yourself are improving!
The girl that you mentioned is Yotsuba from the manga Yotsuba&! I might add that one again if I can think of a new background to make for it. That artwork was slightly different than my others; that's why I liked it. It was simple and did not have plenty of detail, like this one.
I remember this picture perfectly and I also remember it was one of the few pics left til the end on the old HSS acount.I can actually see some work with water colors that before my eyes will just dont understand.Well time has given me the chance to apreciate new things on art and now (understanding a little how u made the pic) skill.I still wonder if you used block paper to do this one (since water colors tend to pass over normal bond paper).Still my exp en acrilics is near 0 if not 0 .I will have to try to use them when my fate moves them near my road.Great picture I still want to see many pictures back like the little girl jumping with green bg and t-shirt.
The combat scene on the naruto picture you made .
I have a good memory soo good I can tell you what the caption was of the girl with green bg jumping.
"This picture was maybe not my best but it made me laught and thats good enought for me."
It was something like that lol.
Well I really enjoy the pictures here u will never know when it will be the last one.
