Since we're being honest, I don't think you messed up the colours at all. Its looks so beautiful, I love how they look so content looking at each other. Its gorgeous so don't worry about it.
Honestly, this is a very good picture! You are truly talented, and although you appear to be your own toughest critic, I must say that the coloring is very nice and the shading is excellent.
Another thing; we all look at our art and compare it to that picture we had in our minds and think,"I'm nowhere near that!" but trust me, this picture is amazing, and I am absolutely looking forward to more of the manga.
