I'm not sure, but I think the correct term is aswang. As for your drawing, you drew a really good character here and the colors you used just gives a sense of excitement.

But above all, I thought your piece was very creative. For you to have created an original character like this based on Philippine folklore was just so cool. I like the idea and the character design so much, I really think an anime series should be made based on this character. I'm not kidding here; that's how much I liked this idea of yours. I salute you for that.
