I think the bg looks fine, but I know what you mean. I have so much trouble trying to get my work uploaded quickly and put in a decent bg. Of course, I was never the expert on backgrounds to begin with. =^^;=
The dress is uber elaborate. It usually difficult to try to make new clothes that make sense and are functional, but you make it look simple. =^^= Excellent work!

I love the outfit and the colors! usually red and pink don't work but you pulled t off. "it's a pair of giant breasts attached to a woman!" sry...thats a quote from one of my favorite anime spoofs and thats the first thing that popped into my mind. please dont take any offense (because other people have when I made those sort of remarks before (i got flammed)).
