No,No this is an awesome picture you combined the colors perfectly.Let me tell you about the coloring combos:
You used a light bg and a little darker character than the bg that goes very well .If you use light//darh char it works and also works dark//light char (you can see Justme dragon picture to see a good example of that one).You used many tones of blue for the bg and they go very well with each other besides being light cold colors you also added a little of light feeling by the yellow .It looks like shining cristals very well done!As for the chars the lines are dark so you can see perfectly the char.IT can be possible to make a character appear by just adding shadows but lines also work very well.The char color is very similar to the bg but with those pink colors u saved the day and added the blue of the char a special detail.Great color combo on the char and the pose this is one of your best.You used the pink on clothes and hair and left the skin on light colors.Skin should be light and the rest goes for darker colors very well thought.
This pics coloring makes perfect sense to me.
